The Kelowna Kodiaks went a perfect 3-0 last week. This is the first win streak of the year for the group. Kelowna Kodiaks got a total of 31 goals during that frame, and for individual performance Dion Schraeder of Kelowna got 10 points (5G, 5A). Alongside the offensive surge, adjusting team discipline will be a focal point. The team racked up 33 penalties last week—reducing time in the box will be key to maintaining control of the game. They have a solid team, but it seems like they can go on a streak of getting penalties during a specific point of the game. Griffin Payne (Goalie) had an outstanding game versus the South Okanagan Flames, he stopped a total of 43 of 50 shots which earned him the defensive player of the game. The Kelowna Kodiaks are back in action at Kelowna Memorial Arena, May 24th 7:00pm vs the North Okanagan Reapers. Come out and support the Kelowna Kodiaks! Can’t make the game?
